O Soldiers of Egypt (Kinana): Gaza's Crossings Do Not Need Trucks, Rather They Need Armies and Armored Vehicles
(Translated)
The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels of catastrophe. The death toll of martyrs has exceeded 65,000. International reports put the number at 40% higher. That is more than 100,000 martyrs and approximately 1.9 million internally displaced people, which is nearly 90% of the Gaza Strip's population, who are living in inhumane conditions, deprived of the most basic necessities of life. Gaza is experiencing a veritable famine, especially in the northern part of the Strip. Hospitals are operating at less than 30% of their capacity, and the shortage of medicine and fuel is putting tens of thousands of patients at risk of slow death. These figures reveal the scale of the tragedy and confirm that what is happening is a genocide war against Muslims in Gaza.
Sisi says that opening the crossings by force means entering into a conflict with major powers, refusing to be invited by anyone to engage in a conflict for the sake of the people of Gaza, claiming that he does not want to drag Egypt and its people into a new war! However, in reality, he is besieging Gaza and its people, and if he could, he would even deprive them of the very air they breathe. He is the same one who squandered Egypt's gas and Nile water, shackling it with loans, treaties, and agreements that will keep it dependent for decades to come. There is no clearer evidence of this than his regime's indication of a target to reduce the debt to 55% by 2050, in clear disregard for Egypt and its people.
The fundamental problem lies not in the volume of aid and the mechanisms for delivering it, but rather in the absence of an ideologically political entity that leads the Ummah on the basis of Islam, unifies its energies, and harnesses its capabilities to confront its enemy. The Ummah lived for thirteen centuries under the Khilafah (Caliphate), and not a single enemy occupied an inch of its land without the Ummah rising up to repel it. Today, after its demise, Palestine has become hostage to fragmentation and subservient regimes, and its people are crying out for help with no one to respond!
The scholars of the Ummah unanimously agreed that supporting the oppressed Muslims is obligatory. Imam al-Shafi'i said: "If the enemy descends upon the Muslim world, it is obligatory upon every capable person to go out and fight him." Ibn Qudamah said in al-Mughni: "If the enemy attacks a country, it is obligatory upon its people to repel him, and jihad then becomes an individual obligation." In other words, defending the people of Gaza is a duty that is most urgently required of the entire Ummah, and most urgently required of the surrounding countries, especially Egypt.
Sisi's claim that aid to the people of Gaza can only be delivered in coordination with the Jews is a worthless justification. How can the aggressor be both an adversary and a judge at the same time? Shariah law does not permit permission to be sought from the enemy of the Ummah to deliver medicine or food to Muslim children. Rather, it is the duty that the crossings and the borders, walls, and fences between Egypt and Gaza must be removed, and the Ummah's resources must be harnessed to support the people of Gaza, not to grant legitimacy to the Jews who control their bread and medicine.
O the sincere ones in the armies of the Ummah in general and the Egyptian army in particular: The blood of Gaza's children, the honour of its women, and the body remains of its men are a trust upon your necks. Allah will ask you on the Day of Judgment: What did you do to support your brothers and sisters? You have no excuse for possessing power and equipment and then leaving them frozen while your brothers and sisters cried out for help and support. It is your duty to support the Deen of Allah and stand with your Ummah. Throw off the shackles imposed on you by the colonialists and utilize your weapons where they belong: against the enemy of Allah and your enemy. Know that the Ummah is with you and that Allah will support you if you are true to Him.
[إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]
“If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm” [Muhammad: 7]
