The West’s Betrayal of Those Who Serve It in the War Against Islam

The colonialist West’s strategy and policy toward the Islamic Ummah is based on fighting Islam as a civilizational and ideological concept. It worked through great and malicious conspiracies to destroy the Islamic State, fragment it, and prevent its return to power and the unification of Muslims. To implement its policies and conspiracies, the colonialist West employed some sons of the Muslims, grooming them with care in thought, politics, governance, and media. As one Western orientalist said, “The tree of Islam must be cut down by one of its own sons.”

Britain supported Sharif Hussein in launching the Arab Revolt and tempted him with the promise of becoming Khaleefah (Caliph). This led to the weakening, fragmentation, and destruction of the Uthmani Khilafah (Ottoman Caliphate). When Britain’s objective was achieved, it turned against him, denied him its promise, exiled him, and placed him under house arrest until he died in grief, just like all the leaders, parties, and groups it had used to advance its plan of fragmentation, nationalism, and the establishment of artificial agent states.

Today, the West continues to use some Muslims, agents in thought, politics, culture, and Deen to prevent the Ummah from rising and resuming its Islamic way of life. They are used to promote the Western creed of separating Deen from life and the state, to call for changing Islam, and to propagate what is called “American Islam” or “French Islam” or “European Islam.” They attempt to cast doubt on Islam’s fundamentals and stir confusion about them. The so-called modernists bear witness to this by calling for reading the texts of revelation through a secular mindset.

The case of the Moroccan atheist Rayan Bidan, who openly admitted that the West used him in its war against Islam, before abandoning him and discarding him, exposes the ugly truth of how the West deals with those who serve it. Once they are no longer useful, it forsakes them or eliminates them.

In this war against Islam, the West also uses the rulers of the Muslims to carry out its agenda. Yet, despite their obedience, the West is never satisfied and always demands more!

For example, in the case of Pakistan, the then Prime Minister, Imran Khan, wrote on his Twitter account on 19/11/2018, defending Pakistan’s services to America after Trump claimed that America had given much to Pakistan but received little in return in the war on “extremism and terrorism.” Imran Khan said, “Record needs to be put straight on Mr Trump's tirade against Pakistan: 1. No Pakistani was involved in 9/11 but Pak decided to participate in US War on Terror. 2. Pakistan suffered 75,000 casualties in this war & over $123 bn was lost to economy. US “aid” was a miniscule $20 bn.” More recently, on 24 April 2025, in an interview with Sky News anchor Yalda Hakim, Pakistan’s Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, lamented, “We have been doing this dirty work for the U.S.A. for about three decades and for the West, including Britain. That was a mistake and we suffered for that. "If we had not joined the war against the Soviet Union and later on, following the 9/11 attacks, Pakistan would have an unimpeachable track record." He also said, “When we were fighting the war on their side in the ’80s against the Soviet Union, all these terrorists of today, they were wining and dining in Washington. Then came 9/11. Again the same situation was created. I think our govt then made a mistake.”

Truly, this is what revelation has informed us of, as Allah (swt) said,

[وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلا نَصِيرٍ]

“Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their faith. Say, “Allah’s guidance is the only true guidance.” And if you were to follow their desires after all the knowledge that has come to you, there would be none to protect or help you against Allah.” [TMQ Surah Al-Baqarah 120]. This Qur’anic truth describes the reality of the West. No matter what services you offer it against your own Deen and Ummah, the day your role ends it will discard you into the trash or destroy you. This is nothing but loss in this world and the Hereafter.

So, O sons of the Islamic Ummah who have placed yourselves in the service of the corrupt Western circles, executing their poisonous and destructive projects: Wake up! Return to your Ummah and reconcile with your Islam. Work sincerely for Islam, and be helpers to your sincere brothers striving for change through the resumption of Islamic life and the realization of Allah’s promise and the glad tidings of the beloved Prophet (saw), with the establishment of the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.

It will overturn the West’s table, eradicate its corrupt civilization, embody goodness and justice, and bring about peace and tranquility.
