Pakistan Once Again Executes a U.S. Project Against Afghanistan
(Translated)

News:

Pakistani military drone strikes on Afghanistan’s Khost and Nangarhar provinces have killed three children from a single family and injured five others, including women and children.

Comment:

Recent developments in the region suggest that Pakistan has once again taken on a new project directed by the United States regarding Afghanistan. This project, a continuation of Washington’s long-standing policy to suppress any independent Islamic movement in the region, is now being pursued with greater intensity and coordination. Pakistan’s recent military, diplomatic, and intelligence moves make it clear that Islamabad has assumed the role of a pressure tool against Afghanistan.

The latest visits of Pakistan’s Army Chief, Asim Munir, to the United States, along with high-level meetings between U.S. and Pakistani officials in Islamabad—coinciding with Washington’s request to retrieve remaining military equipment from Afghanistan—are part of this project. Shortly after these meetings, the Pakistani military launched airstrikes on Afghan border areas, showing how behind-the-scenes agreements are swiftly being turned into operations. Strikes against positions of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) near the Afghan border further strengthen the likelihood of U.S. intelligence cooperation.

At the same time, the United States may be creating fresh financial incentives for Pakistan by partially reactivating the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) for counterterrorism operations. Meanwhile, Pakistani officials, including the army chief, have been emphasizing Pakistan’s role in “fighting terrorism,” seeking to present a favorable image of this renewed partnership to Washington.

The primary objective of this project is clear: to pressure the Taliban, to contain Islamic movements in the region, to push Pakistan’s military focus westward in order to reassure India, and to prevent the emergence of any fundamental transformation that might challenge the Western-dominated global order. Once again, under the banner of securing “national interests,” Pakistan has aligned itself with a project that will only fuel further instability, prolong proxy wars, and weaken the Islamic Ummah.

If this trend continues, Islamic movements in the region will face threats not from a foreign enemy, but from a mercenary neighbor. The only way to confront this reality is through political and geographical transformation in the region by establishing a rightly guided Caliphate (Khilafah Rashidah) —rather than clinging to Pakistan’s so-called “national policies.”
